If you have an accident, remain at the scene and call police. Ask for the addresses and driver’s license number of the other drivers, occupants of other vehicles, injured parties and any witnesses. Also, make sure to take down the license plate, year make and model of all vehicles as well as the name of insurance company or agent and policy number for the drivers.

Your policy will include a 24-hour claim reporting number. Prior to calling, please have your policy number available for the claims adjuster. Please remember to write down your claim number and the name of the person taking care of your claim.
